L’Isle-aux-Coudres and Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive in September
This is a digital supplement to my film blog posting of 4X5 film photos taken on L’isle-aux-Coudres, with some additional images taken at Saint-Joseph, where I did not bring the Tachihara. I made these images with a Nikon D850 and a Sigma ART 24-105mm F4 DG lens.
On the Ferry and around the Island:
At the spectacular Musée Maritime de Charlevoix, one of the best historical museums I have ever visited. It traces the evolution of shipbuilding and navigation in the region, and includes great multimedia displays, artifacts, and locally-built sail and motor schooners you can visit. It is close to the ferry to L’isle-aux-Coudres, with great views of both the island and the village of Saint-Joseph.
